    Hobbies such as swimming can cover you in chemicals such as chlorine, always shower immediately after swimming and rehydrate your skin with a rich moisturiser.
  3. Air Pollution
    Breathing heavily polluted air has a detrimental affect on our lungs, help your body to neutralise and eliminate them harmful pollutants by ensuring that your diet is full of anti oxidants, found in fresh fruit and vegetables. Ensure that you breathe properly, by deep breathing using all of your lungs, not just shallow breathing.
  4. Toxic Fumes
    Today many paints and soft furnishings are full of toxic chemicals and chemical compounds, check to see if you can find safer alternatives.

    It’s not just the smoker who increases their changes of ill health but their smoke also affects anyone who is around them when they are smoking their cigarettes.
  9. Cross Contamination
    Before and after handling food ensure that you wash your hands to avoid cross contamination, this is particularly important when handling meat or dairy products. This also goes for any implements that you have used when preparing your food.
  10. Food
    Much of the food available to us today is full of preservatives, pesticides, additives and chemicals, especially that termed ‘convenience food’. It is important to read your labels so that you become aware of what it is that you are actually eating. As many of these added ingredients could cause, skin problems, migraines and digestive complaints and actually be void of any nutritional value, not so convenient…
